20-ton Excavators for Sale in Abu Dhabi

What to check before buying 20-ton excavators

Buying 20-ton excavators in Abu Dhabi is a long-term commitment, so check these points first:

• Line up the key figures for 20-ton excavators: operating weight class and max digging reach. Check each against the data plate and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Ask about parts and service support for the brand and model in your area, since downtime is costly.
• Ask for the ownership and registration documents and check that they match the machine's serial number.
• Arrange an inspection before you pay, ideally by someone independent of the seller.

What the 20-ton class means

On Arabian Tool, the 20-ton class groups excavators whose operating weight class falls roughly between 17 and 25 tonnes. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Larger classes move more material per cycle but need heavier transport, wider access and firmer ground, while smaller classes are easier to deliver and to work in tight areas. Pick the smallest class that comfortably does the job.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 30-ton excavators, 14-ton excavators, 40-ton excavators, 8-ton excavators and 50-ton excavators.

What affects the price of 20-ton excavators for sale

Two quotes for 20-ton excavators can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Brand and support: well-supported brands with local parts availability tend to be priced higher.
• Attachments and extras: any accessories, tooling or covers that come with the machine can change the price.

Typical projects for 20-ton excavators in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the centre of its oil and gas sector, with major industrial and port zones such as KIZAD and Khalifa Port. 20-ton excavators are core equipment for oil and gas, as well as construction work.

Other jobs that call for them: foundation, basement and pit excavation, as well as site clearing, grading and backfilling.

If the machine you want is not in Abu Dhabi, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Dubai (about 120 km) and Sharjah (about 140 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
