What to consider when renting tower cranes

Use this checklist when you compare offers for tower cranes:

• Start from the specification: max load capacity, max jib length and max height under hook are what separate one set of tower cranes from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Plan for the operator. Tower cranes are often supplied with a qualified operator, and whether fuel and overtime are part of the rate differs from supplier to supplier.
