20-ton Excavators for Sale in Dubai

What to check before buying 20-ton excavators

Before you commit to buying 20-ton excavators, work through these checks:

• Line up the key figures for 20-ton excavators: operating weight class and max digging reach. Check each against the data plate and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Ask for the hour-meter reading, service records and a recent inspection report, and compare them with the condition of the undercarriage, hydraulics and cab.
• Ask for the ownership and registration documents and check that they match the machine's serial number.
• Ask what warranty or after-sales support, if any, the seller offers, and get it in writing.

What the 20-ton class means

On Arabian Tool, the 20-ton class groups excavators whose operating weight class falls roughly between 17 and 25 tonnes. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Larger classes move more material per cycle but need heavier transport, wider access and firmer ground, while smaller classes are easier to deliver and to work in tight areas. Pick the smallest class that comfortably does the job.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 30-ton excavators, 14-ton excavators, 40-ton excavators, 8-ton excavators and 50-ton excavators.

What affects the price of 20-ton excavators for sale

Two quotes for 20-ton excavators can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• Location and transport: moving heavy equipment adds cost that depends on distance and machine size.

Typical projects for 20-ton excavators in Dubai

Dubai is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates and a major regional hub for construction, trade and logistics, home to Jebel Ali Port. 20-ton excavators are core equipment for construction work. You will often see 20-ton excavators on logistics and ports sites.

Other jobs that call for them: foundation, basement and pit excavation, as well as site clearing, grading and backfilling.

Straight-line distances from Dubai to the nearest bases in our data: Sharjah (about 20 km) and Abu Dhabi (about 120 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
