Spider Lifts for Rent in Dubai

What to consider when renting spider lifts

Hiring spider lifts goes more smoothly when the basics are settled before you ask for prices. These points shape the quote:

• Have the key figures ready. For spider lifts, suppliers will ask about max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity before they can price the hire.
• Check who will run it. Spider lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Choose the power and drive type for the site: electric platforms suit indoor and finished floors, while diesel rough-terrain models suit uneven outdoor ground.
• Ask for the registration, inspection and operator documents your site or client requires before the machine arrives.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right spider lift size

Most enquiries for spider lifts start with max working height. The classes you can open from this page are 15m, 20m and 28m.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

What affects the price of renting spider lifts

There is no single market rate for spider lifts: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for spider lifts in Dubai

Dubai is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates and a major regional hub for construction, trade and logistics, home to Jebel Ali Port. You will often see spider lifts on construction, as well as industrial and power sites.

Further uses include facade and glazing installation in restricted areas, as well as work over landscaping and finished surfaces.

Well-known industrial and project areas in and around Dubai include Jebel Ali Port, Jebel Ali Free Zone and Dubai Industrial City. Mention the exact site or zone in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

Nearby bases and their straight-line distance from Dubai: Sharjah (about 20 km) and Abu Dhabi (about 120 km). Delivery is priced on the actual route and the machine's size, so ask each supplier for a delivered price.
