14m Boom Lifts for Rent in Jeddah

What to consider when renting 14m boom lifts

Use this checklist when you compare offers for 14m boom lifts:

• Know your numbers: the specifications that matter most for 14m boom lifts are max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity. Having them to hand makes quotes faster and more accurate.
• Check who will run it. 14m boom lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Make sure your crew has the familiarisation and fall-protection equipment the site requires, and ask whether the supplier can provide it.
• Ask what delivery and return cost, who loads and unloads, and the condition the machine must be returned in.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.

What the 14m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 14m class groups boom lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 12 and 17 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 20m boom lifts, 10m boom lifts, 28m boom lifts and 40m boom lifts.

What affects the price of renting 14m boom lifts

Two quotes for 14m boom lifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
