Tower Cranes for Sale in Jeddah

What to check before buying tower cranes

Use this checklist when you compare machines and prices for tower cranes:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for tower cranes: max load capacity, max jib length and max height under hook. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Plan transport and commissioning: heavy lifting equipment may need escorts, permits and registration before it can work.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.
• Ask what warranty or after-sales support, if any, the seller offers, and get it in writing.

Choosing the right tower crane size

Most enquiries for tower cranes start with max load capacity. The classes you can open from this page are 6-ton, 10-ton, 16-ton and 25-ton.

Headline capacity is the maximum lift at the shortest radius. At the radius of your actual lift the machine can carry much less, so check your heaviest pick against the load chart before choosing a class.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Liebherr, Potain, Sany and Comansa. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of tower cranes for sale

There is no single market rate for tower cranes: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• Attachments and extras: any accessories, tooling or covers that come with the machine can change the price.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for tower cranes in Jeddah

Jeddah is a major Red Sea port city and the commercial hub of western Saudi Arabia, home to Jeddah Islamic Port. For construction work, tower cranes are core equipment. You will often see tower cranes on industrial and power sites.

Other jobs that call for them: high-rise building construction, as well as port and infrastructure structures.

Well-known industrial and project areas in and around Jeddah include Jeddah Islamic Port and Jeddah Industrial City. Mention the exact site or zone in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

Nearby bases and their straight-line distance from Jeddah: Makkah (about 75 km), Taif (about 130 km) and Yanbu (about 310 km). Delivery is priced on the actual route and the machine's size, so ask each supplier for a delivered price.
