Vertical Mast Lifts for Rent in Jeddah

What to consider when renting vertical mast lifts

Use this checklist when you compare offers for vertical mast lifts:

• Have the key figures ready. For vertical mast lifts, suppliers will ask about max working height and platform capacity before they can price the hire.
• Check who will run it. Vertical mast lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Choose the power and drive type for the site: electric platforms suit indoor and finished floors, while diesel rough-terrain models suit uneven outdoor ground.
• Ask what delivery and return cost, who loads and unloads, and the condition the machine must be returned in.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right vertical mast lift size

Vertical mast lifts are usually specified by max working height. On Arabian Tool you can browse these classes: 6m, 8m and 10m.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Brands with their own pages: Genie and JLG. A brand page helps if you need a specific make for operator familiarity or parts support.

What affects the price of renting vertical mast lifts

Quotes for vertical mast lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for vertical mast lifts in Jeddah

Jeddah is a major Red Sea port city and the commercial hub of western Saudi Arabia, home to Jeddah Islamic Port. Vertical mast lifts are common on logistics and ports, as well as construction projects.

Other jobs that call for them: signage and cabling work, as well as indoor air-conditioning and fire-system works.

Well-known industrial and project areas in and around Jeddah include Jeddah Islamic Port and Jeddah Industrial City. Mention the exact site or zone in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

Nearby bases and their straight-line distance from Jeddah: Makkah (about 75 km), Taif (about 130 km) and Yanbu (about 310 km). Delivery is priced on the actual route and the machine's size, so ask each supplier for a delivered price.
