Boom Lifts for Rent in Jubail

What to consider when renting boom lifts

Use this checklist when you compare offers for boom lifts:

• Start from the specification: max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity are what separate one set of boom lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Boom lifts are usually hired without an operator unless the listing says otherwise; if your crew is not qualified to run one, ask for an operator with the machine.
• Check working height and outreach against the actual task. Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is lower than the figure quoted.
• Confirm the minimum rental period, the daily, weekly or monthly rate, and what happens when the machine stands idle on site.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right boom lift size

The first question for boom lifts is max working height. Arabian Tool groups listings into these classes: 10m, 14m, 20m, 28m and 40m.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Haulotte, Skyjack, Dingli and Sinoboom. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of renting boom lifts

Two quotes for boom lifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
