8m Scissor Lifts for Rent in NEOM

What to consider when renting 8m scissor lifts

Hiring 8m scissor lifts goes more smoothly when the basics are settled before you ask for prices. These points shape the quote:

• Start from the specification: max working height and platform capacity are what separate one set of 8m scissor lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Check who will run it. 8m scissor lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Make sure your crew has the familiarisation and fall-protection equipment the site requires, and ask whether the supplier can provide it.
• Ask what delivery and return cost, who loads and unloads, and the condition the machine must be returned in.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.

What the 8m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 8m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 4 and 9 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 12m scissor lifts, 14m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of renting 8m scissor lifts

Quotes for 8m scissor lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
