Forklifts for Sale in Riyadh

What to check before buying forklifts

Before you commit to buying forklifts, work through these checks:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for forklifts: rated lifting capacity and max lift height. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Plan transport and commissioning: heavy lifting equipment may need escorts, permits and registration before it can work.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.
• Prices on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right forklift size

Most enquiries for forklifts start with rated lifting capacity. The classes you can open from this page are 2-ton, 3-ton, 5-ton, 7-ton and 16-ton.

Rated capacity applies at a stated load centre and lift height. With attachments, a tall mast or an off-centre load the usable capacity is lower, so check the data plate against your heaviest pallet.

Brands with their own pages: Toyota, Hyster, Mitsubishi and Yale. A brand page helps if you need a specific make for operator familiarity or parts support.

What affects the price of forklifts for sale

Quotes for forklifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• Location and transport: moving heavy equipment adds cost that depends on distance and machine size.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for forklifts in Riyadh

Riyadh is the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia and the centre of its government, finance and major urban development. Forklifts are core equipment for construction, as well as industrial and power work.

Other jobs that call for them: loading and unloading trucks and containers, as well as stacking materials in factories and yards.

Industrial areas, ports and project sites such as Riyadh Second Industrial City, Diriyah Gate and Qiddiya are part of the picture around Riyadh. Say which site you are working at so suppliers can quote delivery properly.

Straight-line distances from Riyadh to the nearest bases in our data: Al-Kharj (about 90 km), Buraidah (about 320 km) and Hofuf (about 300 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
