Spider Lifts for Rent in the UAE

What to consider when renting spider lifts

Hiring spider lifts goes more smoothly when the basics are settled before you ask for prices. These points shape the quote:

• Know your numbers: the specifications that matter most for spider lifts are max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity. Having them to hand makes quotes faster and more accurate.
• Spider lifts are usually hired without an operator unless the listing says otherwise; if your crew is not qualified to run one, ask for an operator with the machine.
• Check working height and outreach against the actual task. Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is lower than the figure quoted.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right spider lift size

The first question for spider lifts is max working height. Arabian Tool groups listings into these classes: 15m, 20m and 28m.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

What affects the price of renting spider lifts

There is no single market rate for spider lifts: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.
