12m Scissor Lifts for Sale in Abu Dhabi

What to check before buying 12m scissor lifts

Before you commit to buying 12m scissor lifts, work through these checks:

• Line up the key figures for 12m scissor lifts: max working height and platform capacity. Check each against the data plate and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Confirm that safety systems such as tilt sensing, emergency lowering and platform load sensing work, and ask for the manuals.
• Arrange an inspection before you pay, ideally by someone independent of the seller.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.

What the 12m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 12m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 11 and 13 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 8m scissor lifts, 14m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of 12m scissor lifts for sale

There is no single market rate for 12m scissor lifts: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• Attachments and extras: any accessories, tooling or covers that come with the machine can change the price.

Typical projects for 12m scissor lifts in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the centre of its oil and gas sector, with major industrial and port zones such as KIZAD and Khalifa Port. For construction, as well as industrial and power work, 12m scissor lifts are core equipment.

They are also put to work on ceiling, MEP and fire-system installation, as well as warehouse and retail maintenance.

Straight-line distances from Abu Dhabi to the nearest bases in our data: Dubai (about 120 km) and Sharjah (about 140 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
