12m Scissor Lifts for Rent in Abu Dhabi

What to consider when renting 12m scissor lifts

A few checks before you request a quote for 12m scissor lifts in Abu Dhabi save time later:

• Start from the specification: max working height and platform capacity are what separate one set of 12m scissor lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Check who will run it. 12m scissor lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Choose the power and drive type for the site: electric platforms suit indoor and finished floors, while diesel rough-terrain models suit uneven outdoor ground.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.
• Share the site location, access route and start date so the supplier can confirm availability for your dates.

What the 12m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 12m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 11 and 13 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 8m scissor lifts, 14m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of renting 12m scissor lifts

Quotes for 12m scissor lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.

Typical projects for 12m scissor lifts in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the centre of its oil and gas sector, with major industrial and port zones such as KIZAD and Khalifa Port. 12m scissor lifts are core equipment for construction, as well as industrial and power work.

Further uses include ceiling, MEP and fire-system installation, as well as interior fit-out and painting.

Straight-line distances from Abu Dhabi to the nearest bases in our data: Dubai (about 120 km) and Sharjah (about 140 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
